Dear patients,

We hope this letter finds you and your families in good health. It’s been a long year and a half, but we are working to get our patients back into routine procedures. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

If you have not been to the office yet, we have implemented new protocols for your safety. Some things you may notice when you come in are:

·         Maximum of 2 patients waiting in the waiting room at a time.

·         Patients must always be wearing a mask in the common areas of the office.

·         Temperatures will be taken on arrival to the office.

·         If you would like to brush and floss your teeth prior to your appointment, please ask the front desk for a toothbrush and floss.

·         For your hygiene appointment, you will be asked to rinse with a pre-procedural rinse.

·         We have extra ventilation in the patient rooms, as well and HEPA filters to ensure proper airflow in the office.

Again, thank you so much for all your kind referrals, and entrusting us with your dental care!

Dear patients,

We hope this letter finds you and your families in good health. Due to our mandated two month office closure and the implementation of new patient safety protocols, it has been a long process to get everyone rescheduled.  If you have not been scheduled yet, please know that we are working diligently and that you will be contacted soon! We have been so happy to have seen most of you in the office already.

If you have not been to the office yet, we have implemented new protocols for your safety. Some things you may notice when you come in are:

  • All patients must remain in their car until we come get them for their appointment. No patients are allowed in the lobby unless necessary.

  • Patients must always be wearing a mask in the common areas of the office.

  • All patients will be pre-screened prior to treatment, and temperatures taken and recorded.

  • Our schedule has been modified to run at a lesser capacity to ensure that patients are able to social distance, and to allow us time to frequently sterilize common areas.

  • If you would like to brush and floss your teeth prior to your appointment, please ask the front desk for a toothbrush and floss.

  • For your hygiene appointment, you will be asked to rinse with a pre-procedural rinse.

  • We have extra ventilation in the patient rooms, as well and HEPA filters to ensure proper airflow in the office.

We have noticed that many of you are referring friends and family to the office during this time. Thank you for your trust in our office. We truly value you as our patients. We will always be committed to your making your health and wellness our top priority. We appreciate your referrals.

Thank you so much for all your patience as we work through this!

Sincerely,

Chloe Brooks
Office Manager

Dear Patients:

As of May 19th, our office has reopened! We are excited to take care of you again. We are currently running at a lower capacity and with limited staff.

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal activities. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety and wellbeing.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. With COVID-19 in mind, we have implemented specific new procedures.

  • You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

  • When confirming your appointment, our office will ask you some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again at the office before you are seated.

  • Upon arrival for your appointment, we ask you to remain in your car and call the office to let us know you have arrived. We will come out to get you, thus avoiding unnecessary traffic in the waiting area. Please leave your unessential belongings in your vehicle.

  • We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. Hand sanitizer will be available for you throughout the office to use as needed.

  • Your temperature will be taken upon your arrival with a touchless thermometer.

  • Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and unessential items.

  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. This might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.

  • We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

  • We ask you not to bring extra people to your appointment unless it is absolutely necessary. They will be asked to wait outside. If necessary to wait in the lobby, they will be required to wear a mask and have their temperature taken.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 425-776-3166.

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.

Sincerely,

Dr. Ann Liou, Dr. Felix Liou and Team
